Celine SS14

I am interested in work in monochrome with accents of bold colour as is present in these designs. I am also keen to try a more expressive way of printing fabric, using brave brush strokes and working on a larger pattern.

I can see heavy influences from 1980s music in this collection from Upper Hutt Posse's 'Ragga Girl' to Soul II Soul's 'Back to Life'. Elle Collections describe the collection as 'Powerfully Free'. I agree with this statement, it is full of vibrance and each piece seems to have energy of its own as the fabrics chosen are free moving.
